Deborah Okenla, founder and community lead, Your Startup Your Story


Deborah Okenla is the founder of YSYS (Your Startup, Your Story); a thriving startup community for founders, developers, creatives and investors on a mission to make a difference. YSYS supports and empowers organisations who want to drive diversity, inclusion and social change in London's startup ecosystem.


Together with their community, they collaborate with accelerators, incubators, venture capitalists, not-for profits and corporates on impact projects. Their impact projects include; JPMorgan, Tech Inclusion, FFWD and more.


She is a passionate advocate for black women in tech and has been recognised for her campaign “Where Are The Faces” spotlighting black women in the UK tech ecosystem - by LEAP, Rajesh Agarwal, Deputy Mayor of London, Forbes and The Evening Standard. Recently she was named The UK's Top 100 Black and Minority Ethnic Leaders in Technology by the FT.



David Levine, VP, programming, production & strategic development, Disney Channels EMEA, & GM, Disney Channels UK & Ireland, Nordics

David is responsible for strategic and operational aspects of programming across Disney Channels EMEA, including development of the linear and multi-platform programming strategy.


David is responsible for original production and overseeing the development of originally produced content, acquisitions and co-productions. His team is responsible for developing and commissioning tailored content that listens to what kids want. As General Manager of Disney Channels UK & Ireland, Nordics,


David leads a team that utilises these key platforms to drive awareness for the Disney brand and content, through key partnerships with Sky Broadcasting, Virgin Media and more.



Monica Manoras, head of account sales at Twitter UK

Monica Manoras is head of account sales at Twitter UK. Monica has a background in TV, spending half her career so far at Channel 4 and ITV creating standout partnerships for major brands. She joined Twitter in Summer 2017 to lead a team of client account managers and drive forward Twitter’s premium video content strategy.


Monica is very passionate about gender equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and is always looking to evolve and grow her knowledge in the subject.


Her spare time mainly includes family, and cheering on Tottenham Hotspur FC.
